Don’t Worry be happy

smiley I’m a big advocate of just getting as happy as I can — which takes care of everything. Even if I don’t have reason to be happy— I make something up. Fantasize it. I make a decision that I’m going to be happy one way or another—no matter what. “No matter what, I’m going to be happy! If I have to ignore everybody; if I have to never watch television again; if I have to never pick up a newspaper again, I’m going to be happy. If I never have to see that person’s face again, I’m going to be happy. If I have to see that person’s face, I’m going to find something to see in that person’s face that makes me happy. I’m going to be happy. I’m going to be happy. I’m going to be happy.”

Let yourself

let yourself

Let yourself be. Let yourself enjoy.

Let yourself see and participate, know and feel, listen and
understand. Let yourself live the brilliant richness that
shines through even the smallest details of this very time
and place.

Let go of the worries, the fears, the grievances,
insecurities and inhibitions. Simply and lovingly live the
beauty of this day.

Without judgment as to whether it is difficult or easy,
popular or unpopular, do what you know is right, and what
you feel is right for you. Let yourself be curious, in awe,
inspired and in love with the ineffable reality of
existence.

Live authentically as the unique person you really, truly
are. Allow the fulfillment that naturally comes when you let
all you do come from the best of who you are.

Let yourself be joyful, and generous with your joy, just
because you can, and just because it feels so good. Right
now, let yourself live in the best, most positive way you
can imagine.

Value in doing

Value in doing Value in the doing
+++++++++++++++++++

The reward is rewarding because you have earned it. It is the
work that goes into the planting and cultivation that makes
the harvest worth celebrating.

Your effort is what makes your opportunities come to life.
Fulfillment has meaning precisely because of the work it
demands.

Practice and commitment are what make your skills and
abilities yours to use. Discipline and focused effort are
what make the achievements worth achieving.

No effort, no job, no task is beneath you. For with each
effort comes a new opportunity to enrich your life and your
world.

Sure, the task may be difficult. Instead of worrying or
complaining about how difficult it is, think about the value
it enables you to create.

Embrace the challenge, jump into the effort, and work your
way through the difficulties. There is great value in the
doing, and now is your opportunity to bring that value to
life.
